Day 4 - South Dakota / Badlands

Loooonnnngggg drive through the mid-west today (Minneapolis to Hill City, South Dakota). We both had enough driving for the day before we even reached the border of Minnesota. Fortunately, we struck gold again for lunch at Sanna's Gourmet Mediterranean Restaurant in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Other than hummus and pita, I couldn't tell you what I had eaten for lunch. Vegetarian dish with TONS of flavor.

The Badlands state park was beyond words. You must experience this area yourself to truly appreciate the wonder! We ran out of daylight too soon (even with the extra hour we picked up driving west) but had a wonderful time exploring this area. 

I wore Steelers colors today without even thinking about it. I take it it wasn't worth the while though. Shame.

CLOSED by the time we got here. No loss. 5 cent coffee can't be that good!

Hopeful to add a slideshow on here tomorrow. Tonight - that whole sleep thing is demanding my attention!

Tomorrow ... Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Yellowstone!!
